IPL star Sehwag discusses his hair transplant

Indian cricket star Virender Sehwag has opened up about his recent hair transplant, claiming that ‘you sell good when you look good’.

Sehwag joins the ever-lengthening list of sportsmen who have had the procedure, with Australian spin king Shane Warne and English snooker pro Jimmy White among the most high profile hair restoration patients.

Previously famed for his obsessive wearing of hats, caps and headscarves while playing cricket, the 31-year-old opening batsmen was absolutely clear about the importance of hair transplants.

“The advertisements do not go to bald people, everyone wants to have hair. Everyone wants to shampoo and style their hair and I am no different,” he said.

Facts and figures

Celebrities and sportsmen are not the only ones to suffer from hair loss – nearly all men suffer some form of baldness during their lives.

A spokesman for hair restoration surgery experts Why Go Abroad said: “Hair transplants are become better, cheaper and, as a result, more common than ever.

“You don’t have to be a celebrity to afford expert hair restoration surgery, but the number of famous men who are relying on it shows just how effective the treatment can be.”

Hair transplant prices are totally affordable in the UK and start at £3,000.

Please be aware of the risks before you do any of these procedures. I’m not saying not to do them, just get educated first. This site is a good step.

    Thanks
