Chemical Peels
A chemical peel can help men and women with wrinkles, facial blemishes and uneven

How chemical peels work
A chemical solution is applied to the skin which then removes the damaged outer
layers resulting in a rejuvenated appearance.
Alphahydroxy acids (AHA's) are chemical peel formulas such as glycolic, lactic and
fruit acids, which are some of the mildest formulas. These peels can give the patient
a brighter and smoother looking skin, and are used to treat fine wrinkles, acne
and uneven pigmintation of the skin.
Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) is used for medium-depth peeling, and is used in various
concentrations. superficial blemishes, fine wrinkles and pigmentation are usually
treated with this chemical peel formula.
